Problem
Squeal or squeak can be heard when brakes are applied
Likely Cause
- Caliper piston is sticking
- Brake pad shims were not installed or installed improperly
- Pebbles and sand caught between pad & rotor
- PBC grease was not applied during brake pad installation
Solutions
- Check caliper piston and piston seal for damage and rust
- Check if brake pads and shims are installed properly
- Check rotor surface for grooves
- Apply PBC grease
